wELCOME TO DAY 5

Today, we’ll be talking about visualization. This manifestation practice asks you to imagine yourself accomplishing all your goals. Visualizing your dreams is very powerful, and in this exercise you’ll learn exactly how to practice doing so.

Listen to today’s exercise below. I would love to hear about what you visualized - or any thoughts you had on this week overall! You can reach me on instagram (@empress.entrepreneur) or email at hi@kateflynn.co

The audio exercise is transcribed below:

Hello beautiful souls! Today we're going to be talking about visualization. Visualization is a very powerful thing and manifestation practice for one, but you also see it among many other top performers. If you look at Olympians or top athletes, this is often a practice that they use where they'll actually imagine themselves winning, imagine themselves getting that winning goal or being the fastest and that helps them get into the right mindset to actually accomplish the goals they want to get.

Let's talk about what visualization is, it’s closing your eyes, getting into your head, and really, really just imagining being at a certain end point, whatever that is. You could be thinking about something that you want to experience three months from now. You could be thinking about something you want to experience two days from now. Or you could be thinking ten years out. If you don't know where to start, my favorite place to start is the ten year. Where do you want to be in ten years? It could be exactly where you are right now, or it could be somewhere else.  The key is really capturing the essence of the moment. What do you want? Who's around you? What couch are you sitting on? Where are you walking around? Where are you standing? Are you in your house you're currently in? Are you in a new house? What does your house look like? What are you eating? You can really get into the really, really, really deep, deep details of what you want. I love to start with the five or the ten year visualization. It's also really, really powerful if you're thinking about a very specific event or an outcome.

So for example, one thing that I like to do is imagine dinner with my husband on New Year's Eve, and I like to imagine us sitting at dinner and cheersing, and having a conversation around how grateful we are for all of these things happening this past year and just kind of this celebratory dinner where we're so, so, so happy and have so many things to be grateful for. I usually have specific things that I'm trying to manifest that I include us celebrating those moments. I also really, really, really encourage you to put on a song while you do this or put on music while you do this. Music might not be for everybody, but I think for most of us, it really helps you just kind of get into a moment, melt into a moment and just focus without any outside distractions.

I hope that you try this. This is very, very powerful. I love to hear about what you spent your time visualizing and how this went for you. So please make sure to share.
