Today, we’ll be talking about gratitude stacking. This exercise helps your positive energy flow by allowing you the space to acknowledge all the things you are grateful for.
Listen to today’s exercise below. I would love you to share some of the things that came up in today’s exercise! If you feel compelled to share some or part of your gratitude list with me, please share with me on Instagram (@empress.entrepreneur) or email at hi@kateflynn.co
The audio exercise is transcribed below:
Hello beautiful souls! Today, we're going to talk about gratitude stacking. Gratitude stacking is a really powerful way to just get yourself in a good headspace, to let the positive energy start flowing. And it's helpful either at the start of your day, or if you find this point in your day where you're just like, triggered by everything, you're just feeling frustrated, like everything's making you mad… pausing and doing a couple minutes of gratitude stacking is really, really, really powerful.
This is a practice I learned from “The Last Law of Attraction Book You'll Ever Need to Read”. It's pretty simple. Basically, turn off outside distractions, sit down with a pen and a paper. Pen to paper I promise will be better than trying to type it out on your computer or your phone. Pen to paper, phone away, distractions away. I like to put on music. Optional, but I like to put on music to get me in the mood. You can literally Google like Spotify manifestation sounds and it'll just give you like high vibrating frequencies that are awesome. Get in your zone. And you start writing things that you're grateful for, but you really want to start to go deep and savor the moment. You will write, for example, I am grateful for my health. And just pause and think about what that means. Helps you show up for your family or your friends, or how that allows you to do things that you love. I might write, “I'm grateful for my husband.” And I close my eyes and I think about, everything he does and not just this blanket saying “I'm grateful for my husband.” I really try to think about, why am I grateful for him? Why? And just go deep on that. Instead of just moving on and just writing things, really just going deep on these things. And then, the things that you can start writing that you're grateful for might get deeper and deeper and deeper. It might be... “I'm grateful for that beautiful, nourishing tomato I just ate because it came from the earth and that filled my soul of happiness, knowing that I'm eating directly from the earth and wow, it made me feel so good and the juiciness”. So you can see how it's like, it can either be higher level or very specific, but the idea is just recognizing and soaking in what it really, really, really means and feels like to be grateful for things, experiences in your life, and I promise if you can get in this zone for five minutes, whether it's in the morning or whether it's when you've hit a low point in your day, and you need to reset, this will put you in a really, really, really good, high vibrational place.
I want to hear what you're grateful for. Please make sure to share. I want to hear how this gratitude stacking worked for you. Make sure to let me know.
