Hello beautiful souls! Today we are going to be talking about daily delights, which is my favorite new practice that I just started incorporating recently after hearing about this on Glennon Doyle's podcast. Daily delights. These are little moments throughout your day that bring your heart joy. Ones that may be oh so subtle or oh so small that you typically just breeze over or you don't necessarily catch. But when you do start to pay attention to them and actually acknowledge them by pausing and saying, “that's delightful”, it makes your day even more delightful and it really keeps you in a great headspace. Being in a positive headspace is really the key to unlocking the things that you want to manifest. All the things that you want to bring in, all the joy that you want to bring in.

It starts with staying in a good headspace. Let me just give you some examples of daily delights. This could be your dog running up to greet you when you walk in the door, or picking... a fresh tomato off the vine and eating that tomato and just that feeling of eating something straight from the earth. Going to the farmer's market is always very delightful for me. Specifically, there's this booth with these mushrooms that are just so big and beautiful and crazy. And just seeing those mushrooms is like, “whoa,  this is fascinating.” Little moments with my kids are often my daily delights. The way that they belly laugh and when you tickle them and  all these moments throughout your day. These are the daily delights that, you probably realize this is fun, but you might not stop to say this is truly, truly delightful.

How do you actually practice this? Well, one is you acknowledge it in your head. I would also encourage you to start making a little list of things in your phone. This is a great way to just  actually really take a moment to consciously acknowledge it. Another thing that I like to do is I have an accountability buddy, my good friend Whitney, where we will send daily delights to each other and that's even more delightful because then you're also even hearing their delightful moments, which is also really fun.

I encourage you to try this. I would love to hear what your one daily delight or multiple daily delights are that you kind of stopped to pause to acknowledge. I would love to hear what some of them are. Please share them with me and have so much fun doing this practice. I know you will love it.
